mysterious flyaways

so i use no less than 4 products in my hair everyday - to keep things, shiny, flat, straight. and that's not even counting shampoo and conditioner. what is up with the mad flyaways as of late? right down my part, its like i've got a mini mohawk going on. if i wiggle my head to and fro, i can actually feel them swaying! i don't love hair. its more of a pain in the behind than i'd like to have to deal with. but i also know i'm not brave enough to sinead it, either.

I saw Sinead on Oprah the other day...head was still shaved although she is around 40 now and has gained considerable weight. Oh man, why do we have to grow old?

Oh Sinead, yeah that's a look I could go for. No time spent primping. But I'm pretty sure I have a deformed head so it may not look so good!

One of the first things I noticed about you, Hayley, is your gorgeous hair!! Seriously, it is fabulous.

I thought Kristi was going to say "One of the first things I noticed about you" referring to the flyaways!! That would have been funny.

You have great hair and I'm not saying that because I'm your mom.

You do have quite the routine with your hair, 4 products and all. But your hair is just gorgeous! Maybe you have a lot of new hair growth for some reason, random, but who knows maybe that's it.

My hair is totally awful -- all the time. I'm a product person too and I hate it. I just want decent, nice hair and so far in my long old life, I've never had it! Sigh.

i hate flyaways. i use bumble and bumble styling cream and sumo wax and they help keep them to a minimum.

I have weird period hair right now. It's greasy and flat to my head even though I just washed it. I hate this time of the month it sucks. Let's see some pics of that mini mohawk.:)

I am a serious product junkie too. 4 or 5 things every time I blow-dry/flat iron. It's ridiculous.

have you tried a smoothing serum type thing (like bio-silk) for the fly away problem? That stuff is amazing.
