like in years past, i am going to re-rate them based on my memory of them today. they might be different from the rating i gave them on goodreads. i'm ok with that. if you're not, tough. :)
looking back, aside from re-reading favorites like harry potter, i'd have to say that my top 3 favorite books from 2011 were: the kitchen house, rules of civility, and cutting for stone. if i had a fourth, i'd say a lucky child. my top three youth fiction: divergent, matched [and crossed, which is #2] and i am the messenger.
