i'm back at school. things are organized, i feel prepared. i was so excited to see my lil' buggers this morning. sweet, smiling, sun-kissed faces. i love that sign of spring the most! we'll see how long this attitude lasts. ;)
my extended weekend at heather's was awesome. apparently i wasn't PC, but i thought i was on decent behavior. i had a nice time with the kids. i had some adventures with heather. (dead car batteries, i didn't realize forces one to eat a cinnabon!) my parents made it - so i even snuck in some snuggle time with neddie.
the drive to and fro wasn't bad, either. granted, i might've been just having too much fun with kim, but i think i could handle that drive on my own. its less than 12 hours, only a little more than a tank and a half of petrol, and i could go 90 miles an hour through most of idaho & utard. so. its doable. good news for my frequenting of the vancouver area. bad news for the small town idaho drivers who like to go out cruising on a monday afternoon. i almost rammed a bunch of people - "just to teach them a lesson."
and then there was the motorcyclist who didn't feel the need for a helmet, but he definitely had a shovel strapped to the windshield of his bike. what?!? we had many a laughs at that guy's expense.
the funniest thing that happened yesterday though was when we were approaching some mountain pass in Oregon... It had a electrical marquee warning us of "winter driving conditions ahead." we braced ourselves... for nothing. maybe some light flurries. but it was nothing to slow down over. and then when we passed this huge massive snow plow, and kim taunted him by saying, "you've been sent out on a fool's errand!" i don't know why, but that tickled my fancy something fierce. i love witty people, who can come up with that kinda crap in a flash. ahh good times.
ok. the kids are finishing their handwriting. i need to go be Miss Jones again.
