wearing out...

so, i came home tonight from work because there is nothing left for me to do. not that everything is ready, but we don't have class lists, so i've just done as much as i possibly can, until i get a class list. it has something to do with the district instating new software & the software not working right. and the geniuses over there can't figure out that year round schools start next wednesday, with no students specifically in certain classes. this is fun. so tomorrow morning, i'm going to work, but i'm also taking my book. and then, i'm going to lunch to some luncheon with craig, at log haven (never been there) up millcreek canyon. i saw it last week when we went to ruth's. the suckiest part about this now is that i'll probably most likely have to go in to work on monday, which is exactly what i didn't want to have to do. that's why i worked this last monday... oh well...

but when i got home tonight - i vegged on my couch for a while... then slept for a while. now i've gotten up to brush my teeth & climb into bed. you know you're exhausted when you crash like i did tonight ~ what a long, busy week ~ but i'm not complaining, as exhausting as it is, i also love it. i love the start of a new school year. (new supplies, new things to try and teach, new kiddies to torture emotionally, i mean, new kids to educate)

heehee emotional torture, love it. I love Ruth's! yummy. Is Log Haven the place right next to it? I have eaten there, but I don't think it was called Log Haven then. Didn't it close for a while and reopen? Anyway good luck in your class room prep. Hooray for Harry Potter at midnight!!!

log haven is down the road a little bit from ruth's & its across the street, too. its a big log building, from what i've seen. never actually eaten there myself. i am not sure what the place right next to ruth's is - but when i was there last week, it definitely looked closed!

I hope you get your class list soon! Stupid computer problems. Go easy on 'em. Remember, they're new to being 3rd graders!

Hope your list is on your desk when you get to school this morning. Let us know about lunch. Sounds yummy. Salt Lake has some great places to eat.

I always like the new school year too -- just sort of a fresh start to everything. Enjoy your book, your lunch and your weekend!
